The last horse in the race was hopelessly doomed to failure when the jockey whispered something in the horse’s ear. The horse bolted and finished first.
When asked what he did, the jocky stated he recited this poetry:
Roses are red
Violets are blue
Horses that lose
Are made into glue
He went on to say it works every time!
