i wanna get this girl i fancy a dozen of red roses but im not exactly made of money and the cheapest place i could find said they could not promise delivery on the 14th of feb, anyone know a descent place?

Every florist will be able to deliver on the 14th. Prices of Roses are determined by the length of the stem.

I am looking to buy some Flowers for my girlfriend. I found a few that I like but had a question. I can get 2 dozen assorted roses(pink, red, yellow, orange, white) for $10 cheaper than 1 dozen red roses. Why is this??? The money isnt really a problem but I personally think the assorted 2 dozen look A LOT better. Is she going to think im cheap?

I think it is just because red Roses are the ones that everyone wants, so there is a high demand and therefore they put the price up to match the high demand. So if you get a mixed bunch,t here will be less demand for those other colours, so a cheaper price.

Okay so I had the idea to put a rose on every girls locker in my grade, and could probably get some friends to pitch in. (I’m in high school) I just need a place where I could buy a ton of Roses cheap and quick. Any ideas?

I’m looking for some super inexpensive ribbon to make ribbon rose arrangements for wedding centerpieces. The color of the bridesmaid dresses are sangria and they are carrying pink, and yellow roses. I wanted to make a bouquet ribbon roses for the tables and seeing as our wedding is music themed, have them wrapped in music note ribbon.

I need about 30 centerpieces.

I’m also looking for a wide, cheap satin sangria color ribbon for the card box I’m making.

Unless you happen to run into a fabric store going out of business, I think you are NOT going to find ribbon as inexpensively as you want. Ribbon Roses are ridiculously expensive just because of the materials, and then multiply that by how many roses per table than then by 30 tables — and what on earth are you going to do with them later? I suggest you consider skipping all that use of ribbon and do something else instead. A bud vase with a single rose on each table (or a small glass bowl with one rose blosson floating) will be lovely. Later on, you can put the bud vases or small bowls away to lend or give to a friend, sell them to a florist, put them in a garage sale, etc. (My chef brother-in-law says small glass bowls would be great to have in the kitchen for all sorts of things, but particularly as "prep bowls".)

Im sure loads of guys will want to know where to get cheap Roses from and send it to their loved ones any ideas?

Every florist in the country hikes roses prices up this week!! Try Tesco – great value and they last ages AND they don’t raise the prices just because its Valentines!

Your friendly safeway store .they usually have them dozen for $9.99 with your club card. you can call and ask when they are expecting a delivery and request 3 dozen white rose be put aside for you . You might want to consider using baby white Roses to make them go farther

See if there is a local tech school or community college that teaches horticulture and floral arts and order through them. Or a wholesale florist in the yellow pages will likely sell to an organization.

I heard you can get really cheap Roses in Tyler Texas. Does any one know where I would have to go to buy them? I have heard they have a rose museum but that is it. If anyone knows about this please give me more info. Thanks!

You will need to look at wholesale florist sources in Dallas or Ft. Worth. You won’t find them in a small town such as Tyler.

Go to yellowpages.com and type this: wholesale floral supply and type the city and state and see what comes up. Give these companies a call. They will may request your Texas resale number. If they do and you on’t have one, they won’t sell to you. Find a friend who does and will let you use theirs or apply for one of your own at the Department of Revenue office in Tyler. (Almost any small business owner can direct you to them.)
