Is buying roses from walmart a bad idea?
July 4th, 2010 | by admin |I want to buy some roses from walmart for Valentines day. How long should they last or would they look droppy if I get them a day before.
People say walmart flowers are really cheap.
How should I check if its good Flowers and were is the date that shows how long it has been out.
you really have to feel the rose, lightly squeeze the Roses , if they feel firm , they are fresh and you should get about a week out of them, if they feel soft or squishy with a lot of give, it mean the rose has opened up and about to wilt, these will only last another day or so. I had no idea walmart did flowers, I wouldn’t worry about it, around Valentines Day all florist are ready and stocked with fresh roses ready to go. You will most likely have better luck at a local florist though, they will care a lot more about their delicate flowers a lot more then any wal-mart ever could and they are more likely to have more of a beautiful, exotic selection.
