Is just a single rose for valentine’s day cheap or romantic?
July 7th, 2010 | by admin |Is just a single rose for valentine’s day cheap or romantic?
i would find any gift on valentines day to be sweet, thoughtful, and romantic. however i have some really really materialistic b*tchy friends who would think their guy was a piece of sh*t for being cheap if they gave them a single rose. you just kind of have to make an educated decision on what kind of girl you have.
if you cant tell. to be safe i would suggest giving her a single rose and then follow it up by doing something else small but romantic that night. like make her a really nice dinner. or if youre somewhere warm go for a late night peaceful handholding walk and just talk or lay out and watch the stars. or accompany the rose with a cd you burn of songs that remind you of her. or if you play guitar right her a song…
i think you get where im going with this. but like i said i would personally find the single rose to be enough. its romantic and sweet in my mind and Valentines Day is a dumb holiday i dont expect much from my guy in the first place. lol
good luck

depends. If you do something like dinner or picnic and pull out a single rose its romantic. If you just show up on her door step and give her a single rose its cheap. Unless, of course, you are in high school. then its romantic no matter what you do with a single rose.

It also depends on the girl if she is high maintenance she will see it as cheap. If she is one that enjoys the small things it is romantic.

It depends on the relationship. If my husband of 15 years who can afford to buy me a dozen roses and the car that they came in then it would be cheap. But if you are newly dating or if money can be more wisely spent on other items then it is very romantic.
I believe that romance is what you say and what you do in context of each other and your surroundings. When my husband buys me a dollar store card that it tells me I am amazing – and he tells me that he thinks I am amazing all the time – I think that is romantic!
When he picks me up from work and says he taking me to a show he has just seen because he knows I will like it, I think that is romantic.
When he says Valentine’s day is just another day, I think that is NOT romantic!
I guess my point is that a single rose can be romantic but only if you act and speak accordingly.
Hope this helped.
