What are some nice flowers to send a girl when you aren’t serious enough to do roses yet?
June 24th, 2010 | by admin |The dozen Roses seem a little serious early on–what are some flowers that can make her smile but not come across as being either too serious on one end of the spectrum or too cheap on the other end of the spectrum?
Get a mixed bouquet of seasonal Flowers. I don’t know what her favorites are, so I can’t tell you for sure. I happen to adore tulips. Gerbera daisies are bright, colorful, and totally cute. You could also get her a live plant like a little violet or miniature rose in a pot.

Roses are always appropriate. The color of the roses have meaning and it might not be time for red or pink yet but white and yellow always go over well. I recommend talking to a florist in person. They are the experts and they know what they have in stock that would work well for any situation.

Go with a bouquet of wild flowers – florists will include gerber daisies, sunflowers, etc. It’s light, whimsical, and fun! Any girl will feel flattered and take it as a compliment, versus a commitments! lol.
You are right, roses are waaaaay too heavy if you’re not serious yet.
Daisies by themselves look cheap and uninteresting.
Carnations – cheap!
Lilies – don’t even think about it; they’re used at funerals & weddings almost exclusively!
