A good cheap website for buying valentines flowers at?

July 10th, 2010 | by admin |

I’m a woman who loves fresh Flowers, any time of the year. But at Valentine’s Day, unless one buys very expensive flowers, all you are going to get are ones that last a few days no matter how well you take care of them. If you go that route, buy a large amount of carnations. They last the longest, can be inexpensive. In bunches of red, pinks and white, with a few yellow mixed in, it would be beautiful.

Also, maybe go to a local nursery, so you get flowers accustomed to the climate in the area already, and buy a flowering potted plant. That way, it might be a gift that keeps on giving.

Or buy a green potted plant or fern, buy some inexpensive flowers, cut them to a good size and stick them in the soil of the potted plant… add a decorative bow… I’ve always like that.

Hope that helps.

No such thing. They are overpriced especially when you factor in shipping costs this close to Valentines day. Best to buy locally from a florist.
