Make her dinner-including cupcakes. Spaghetti is cheap & easy, and cake mixes PLUS frosting are only about 2 bucks.
She’ll love the effort you went to!

Here’s something creative that she will appreciate and you will have fun doing:

Make up a crossword puzzle and have all the hints be personal inside moments and jokes that only you two would know about. Put it on a poster board and add some clipart and some pictures to it!

make her a card out of posterboard, glue pictures of you together, write little memories that you’ve had. When you’re writing the note inside of it, make the letters I L O V E Y O U bold or a different color (but don’t just write out I love you, make sure you get each letter in there in order.)

well, I am low on cash also, but for my husband.. I wrote him a two page love letter, telling him how much I loved and appreciated him.. etc. I made a card on my computer, and I downloaded some Love Coupons off the internet. One the back of the coupons I wrote things like 15 minute massage, 10 minute foot rub, breakfast of choice in bed, Watch a movie or channel of choice (sometimes he comes home and myself or the kids are watching something he hates), one realistic wish granted, movie, pizza, and popcorn of choice, one quiet day to yourself (I will take the kids somewhere for the day so he can have quiet)… etc… you get the idea. I am going to go to the dollar tree and buy a valentines balloon, and a stuffed animal, or some chocolate and leave them in his truck Tuesday night for him to find Wedesday morning. The most I will spend is 2 or 3 dollars… can’t beat that…. he isn’t a romantic person, and I will probably not get anything… at least my gifts will be from the heart.
