If you look at the …
If you look at the top of each stitch, you will see two loops. One to the front of the stitch. One on the back of the stitch. The instructions are telling you to work in the back loop only. I will send you a link for a video I made showing what is meant.

Here in America we call it a double crochet. You may have a book made for the country that you live in. Unfortunately without a standard for crochet stitches across the globe, it creates a lot of confusion between countries.

Can you please demonstrate how to do a reverse shell? I am using my husbands you tube….don’t want people thinking he is into crochet….he would freak. Anyway, my pattern from the coats and clark book I am using says this…..insert hook from back to front to back around post of st indicated, draw loop through, 7 times, yo and draw through all 8 loops on hook. I can’t figure it out no matter how hard I try. No luck searching the internet either.
