“The song “A Rose For Epona” appears about in the middle of the storyline – so, it tells about the time when the gaulish war broke out already. The Helvetians decided to leave their homeland and migrate to the west coast of Gallia, to start a new life there.

In the time the song tells about, many Helvetians had to face pretty much shattered hopes. And so does the protagonist, from whose viewpoint the song is written: A young gaulish woman. She was part of the helvetic migration, but after the battle of Bibracte, all hopes that she and her people would ever reach their new home were torn to pieces.

Furthermore you can imagine: She probably had lost her husband on the battlefields of Bibracte and she had to face fact that she can be glad if their common newborn child would not be killed and she herself would be sold into roman slavery.

To sum it up: Her situation was desperate. In this situation “our” young gaulish woman despairs, can’t accept her fate and turns to her goddess Epona… and accuses her for having forsaken her people. This is what the song expresses.

On a historical note: “Epona” was a gaulish goddess which was, among other things, in charge of taking care of horsemen and the cavallery. All over Gallia there were Epona temples where people traditionally offered up freshly cut Roses or rose petals to their goddess.”

Beautiful and inspiring relaxing ambient music can help create inner peace. It can support personal growth, healing and alleviate pain, stress, anxiety, fears and insomnia.

Since 1980, I have been channeling relaxing keyboard music. Through the years I have tuned into individuals, groups of people, those in transition, events, lyrics, video productions, and have brought through melodies that have had powerful effects.

My relaxing music has inspired artists and writers, increasing their creativity. Psychotherapists, Reiki and massage therapists find that is takes their work to deeper levels. I have discovered that autistic children are able to interact with these melodies. The passages of this new age music supports deep relaxation, and if used during meditation, it can take one on a spiritual journey. Hospitals and clinics are using my relaxing music to comfort patients undergoing medical procedures.

Words are inadequate to describe the experiences my relaxing music offers. You must listen to it, allowing the notes to enfold you in their embrace. As background music, the effects are subtle. Intentional listening to this relaxing music with no outside interruptions, creates the most desirable effects.

By incorporating beautiful, soothing and relaxing music into our daily lives, we can experience joy, we can find inner
peace and harmony with all that is. And most importantly, we can feel connected with our loving God, and one another.

I am indeed blessed to be able to offer this sacred gift to the World, to help create inner, and thus outer peace in our Planet.
