What is a good valentines day present for my boyfriend?

February 1st, 2010 | by admin |

Valentines Day is the day after our two month anniversary
i figured that i would get him the DVD of the movie we saw on our
first date then do something sentimental too, but i have no ideas.
We’re both sixteen . Any ideas?

I think you’re in a unique position to start an annual tradition. I love your idea about the DVD, but maybe you could save that for Valentine’s Day. For you anniversary, offer something new that you can reintroduce the NEXT Valentine’s Day. For example, cook him a romantic dinner for your anniversary, then next year cook him the same dinner for Valentine’s Day while offering something else that’s new for next year’s anniversary.

Something to consider is a gift from the heart. Maybe you can write him a romantic poem that you can print on parchment paper and frame for him to appreciate all year round. Another option might be a slow dance to a romantic song while the lights are turned down low.

I hope these suggestions help!

I say make him a small gift basket. Include a handmade card that tells him exactly how you feel; include the DVD; include his favorite kind of snack (pop corn, chips, cookies, candy) in a decorated plastic jar that has his name on it so it is personalized (Like X’s Snacks; X’s Treats; X’s Goodies – all depending on what sounds best with his name).

If you need more ideas, I suggest checking out the link below for some great homemade crafts.

    here are some other ideas:
1.get him a gift certificate to his favorite place.
2.a bands cd he really likes.
3.tickets to see a movie youve been wanting to see
    4.go to mymms.com and personalize m&ms
5.frame a picture of you guys in a frame that has a border on the inside. on the border write any nicknames you have for eachother or inside jokes.
6.something that reminds you of your first date.
7.get a jar and decorate it with valentines themes paper or stickers. collect the little white strips from hershey kisses, and on them write things you like about him or encouraging notes.
8.make a scrapbook or memory box
9.go to your local zoo’s website and adopt his favorite animal. they usually come with a certificate with info and a stuffed animal
10.make a card. do you have a cute message hes send you? prink a copy of it and run it through a paper shredder. take all the strips and cover a plain piece of red cardstock paper with the strips then decorate it with stickers and stamps. its a creative way to make a card that tells a little bit about you guys. you can still see pieces of the note he wrote you in the shreds.
