How do guys feel about getting Valentines gifts?

My boyfriend and I are long distance. I want to send him a cute card and a chocolate rose (each petal is chocolate, it looks really great)

He’s been giving me hints about his valentines gift to me for days, so for a guy who’s obviously into valentines.. does my gift to him seem alright? too little, too mushy? anything to add?
