Why is it that teachers want bigger valentines gifts from students?

February 11th, 2012 | by admin |

They are not one bit more important than any of the children so why do they feel better and want bigger better Valentines Gifts than the children

Some teachers, like any other human, have inflated egos. Do not feel obligated to get the teacher a Valentines Day gift, though.

All I can say is that I don’t know any teacher who even wants a Valentine gift from students. I have never wanted one, and all the teachers I know feel the same way. Spend the money on your friends, parents, etc., but leave teachers out. That goes for Christmas, too. Save your money. After teaching for over 25 years, I have never heard a teacher say they wanted gifts. The biggest gift your can give your teacher is to pass.

Because most of them don’t have a MAN.

They don’t. I don’t know, and never have known any, that wanted anything. I don’t see why the children should get Valentine gifts either.

I don’t know of any teachers who get Valentine’s presents. Do you know one? Nor do I know any children who get Valentine’s presents from anyone other than their parents. Where do you live?
