Wow men and women have the same taste in (Valentines) gifts?

Most surveys indicate that women and men like chocolate, Flowers and beer as (valentines) gifts. Is it surprising that women also like 2 out of those 3 things for Valentines Day. Maybe men and women are more similar than most people assume.

Beer? Ugh.
I’d like chocolate or money/gift certificate. What is so special about alchohol? You could just drive up to a fratenity and borrow some.
